Green Goals

In an effort to be a more responsible world citizen, I am going to try to do one thing each month to reduce my carbon footprint or improve my health.  Luckily for me, the two categories generally go hand in hand. I plan on starting out small, but working my way to big!  There's no point in discouraging myself from the start, right?  (I never could stick to that strict Atkins diet...)

February:   Turn off the lights!
March:       Buy natural beauty and cleaning products whenever possible.
April:         Eat vegetarian at least two days a week and buy local meat and poultry.
May:          No more plastic water bottles!
June:          Use reusable produce bags.
July:           Eat at least one entirely locally sourced meal per week.
August:      Don't let the water run while I'm brushing my teeth.
September: Take colder showers. Brrr!
October:     Cut down on consumption! Reduce, reuse, repair, recycle.
November: Be green at work.
December:  Renew, reuse, recycle this holiday season.
